To secure your booking/reservation a bank deposit of 50% of the prospective accommodation bill is required in advance. Also as a strict rule, the balance of the accommodation bill (as booked) is due on arrival/registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to handling costs and banking fees incurred by processing reservations and refunds SunnysideUp Backpackers can NOT refund deposits up to ZAR120.00 altogether.

If a guest cancels a reservation with a booking value greater than ZAR240.00 he/she will forfeit:

25% of the deposit if the cancellation is effected 31 or more days prior to the date of arrival, 50% if the cancellation is effected 30 to 15 days prior to the date of arrival, 75% if the cancellation is effected 14 to 8 days prior to the date of arrival, and 100% if the cancellation is effected less than 8 days prior to the date of arrival, OR a minimum of ZAR120.00, whichever is greater.

SunnysideUp Backpackers' Accommodation

means comfortable and affordable lodging in one dormitory, four chalets and one "family" cottage. Prices vary between R90.00 and R240.00 per person per night.

Eight bunk beds are available in the dormitory. Two of the four chalets are en-suite, the other two are not. En-suite chalets are suitable for up to 4 adult persons whilst the cottage (en suite) and our NOT en-suite chalets sleep up to six persons very comfortably. Sanitary facilities for guests in the dorm and in the two chalets not en suite is provided in the ablution block next door (4 showers, 4 toilets, 2 basins).

Bed linen is provided for free throughout the price range. In the communal kitchen you can prepare your coffee or tea, prepare breakfast and/or cook your meals.

Camping is also possible, of course - at a rate of R60.00 per person/night.

Small children up to 3 years of age go for free. For children older than 3 years that are NOT occupying a separate bed we charge only R30.00 per night.

Guests or groups who book for 8 or more nights within a period of 30 days will receive a discount of 10% on their accommodation bill.
